Named after Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and the text relates to him but the art may also mirror something about the idea of 'space' exploration, if you wish, all art frequently being an exploration of space, the blank space and the objects/shapes we build into it? Yes? These pieces were borne out of flicking through this magazine, randomly tearing out pages and collaging them before working further with the material.
