Obviously a drawing of a person is not
a real person, but a drawing of a
line is a real line
- Sol LeWitt
Two recent drawings. I usually do one a day. The ghosts of constructivists past may look over my shoulder and laugh but I don't care. Should I meet them and be able to chat, I would offer this rebuke if they questioned my technical ability: "I may not be a great craftsman, but YOU fell for the revolutionary propaganda!" That would silence them. Or not. I'd also have to thank them for inspiring me, of course.
LeWitt's line is great, isn't it?
