Another woman-machine construction. My fascination with the idea of semi-digital/mechanical humans continues. Such interest is nothing new, of course. It's as old as Dada photomontage. Many of my pieces, however, utilise images from the new computer era in which some were already worrying about machines 'taking over', stealing our souls or worse still, running our lives. What an absurd prophecy that was!
